A Boeing 757-200 of the Russian company Vim-Avia, which made the flight from the Spanish city of Alicante to Moscow, was forced to make an emergency landing in Italy because of the fire in one of its engines.

According to information broadcast by the news channel of Russian television Vesti, the crew received a fire signal in the right engine and flying some passengers saw a flash in the area of the engine.
The pilots decided to make an emergency landing at the nearest airport, which resulted in Rimini (northeastern Italy).
The aircraft landed without incident and all 225 passengers, which was sent another aircraft of the same company, are fine.

This is the second incident for the Russian airline, whose fleet it is formed only by Boing 757-200 aircrafts, this year.

In the morning, on April, 23, at 6.00 at a stage of start at departure from airport Domodedovo has been compelled to stop take-off liner Boeing-757-200 of Vim Avia airline carrying out flight to Charm- El-Shaih. The reason – the right engine was not obtain the take-off mode. Onboard there were 92 passengers and 8 members of crew.

On July, 28th, last yeae another  Boing-757 of Vim Avia, which is carried out flight Domodedovo – Naples, at the flight level of 10 thousand 600 meters has occurred cracking on an external windshield of the airplane. The crew has made a decision on returning to the airport of the departure Domodedovo.
