Life is a journey! 2

Jun7

During last month I’ve been traveling a lot. Maybe a little bit too much. On April 20th I was flying to Naples, using for the first time MyAir Airways services. The flight took off from Bucharest Baneasa with 10 minutes before the scheduled time and it arrived to destination with half an hour before the schedule, after a 1 hour and 15 minutes flight.

The inbound was also in time, but with some strange turbulence.

Then Zack had a trip to Romania, using also MyAir on Naples – Bucharest route. The funny thing with his arrival was that I left my office exactly at the time of his departure (10.10 Romanian time). I’ve taken 104 to Piata Unirii for two stops then 783 to the airport…and I arrived when the plane had already landed. Isnt it cool?

We traveled together to Sinaia … I’ll never believe from now on the weather websites cause they said that would be two rainy days and we had two beautiful sunny days.

After three days from Zack’s departure I left with Mona for Bratislava … using SkyEurope Airlines. I never wish to anybody to have a similar flight. I was scared as hell like most of the people in the plane. What happened?

Boarding complete … plane starts to run on the runway and at a certain point the sky becomes black and a small rainy storm started. The plane stops running and returned to the parking place. After half an hour we were back on the runway. The wind was very strong and immediately after detachment the plane was trembling and started to move in all the direction possible. And even at 10,000 feet it went on bumping and bumping… till the landing. Thanks God we had a good pilot.

The return flight was much better but the wind was “blowing” the plane during the descending.

Still alive … Preparing now for the next flight because in the end life is a journey … so you just have to travel!

  1. I have long ago started not to believe weather forcasts. I dunno what is wrong, the weather changing to fast or the forcasts being all twisted up, but they are rarely right, at least those made in Romania.

As for your bumpy flight, hope you won’t go through that again!

Hopefuly there will not be more bumping! :-)
