Ok… Don’t we all love to plan our Easter holiday and then to find out there are some “strike threats”?
Of course we don’t … But in Italy things are working diferently. And this is about “wrong” laws [1]
So, if you are planning to travel to/from Italy here are some things you should consider:

May 23 2006 8 hr. strike (10:00:18:00) Alitalia Pilots
May 26 2006 4 hr. strike (10:00:14:00) Alitalia Pilots

Please note that most of the strikes in Italy are cancelled.
[1] The Italian Constitution recognises the right to strike, which must be exercised within the limits fixed by the law (Art. 40). However, only one law exists, that regulates the right to strike, and that is for the public essential services (Act 146, 12 June 1990); thereforethere is a large freedom to strike.
