SkyEurope – first company to abolish fuel surcharge 0

Mar9

Have you saw any add with flights with small prices for a round trip?
Have you checked the website of that company and you found out a huge price?
Then you know that there was a fuel surcharge of 30-40 euro/passenger/segment… so60-80 euros more at the total price.

Now, SkyEurope announced that they will cut the fuel surcharge tax and they will add just the airport taxes to the fare of the ticket. SkyEurope Airlines will also cut all additional passenger fees or reservation charges as they become part of the passenger base fare. The only applicable remaining cost on top of the airfare is the net airport departure tax and government tax (only if applicable).

So, a flight Bucharest Baneasa – Bratislava International – Bucharest Baneasa will cost (at the minimum fare basis) 54.74 EURO:
- 14 euro the outbound fare basis
-  6 euro outbound airport tax
-  4 euro outbound Government tax
- 14 euro return fare basis
- 12,74 euro retun airport taxes
