Malév will be the first airline to operate international flights from the recently reconstructed airport of Tirgu Mures, Romania. Malév launches its new direct flight to the Transylvanian city of Tirgu Mures on 16th January 2006, expanding its destinations in Romania from four to five.

The flight operates Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Fares start at HUF 14,900 + taxes and fees from Budapest and at EUR 69 +taxes and fees from Tirgu Mures.

For the moment there is Carpatair flying from Targu Mures to it hub in Timisoara (from here the Targu Mures flight is conected with all the international routes of Carpatair).
